Palace on Wheels (8 Days / 7 Nights)

 
  
Delhi -> Jaipur -> Jaisalmer -> Jodhpur -> Sawaimadhopur -> Chittaurgarh -> Udaipur -> Bharatour -> Agra -> Delhi

Note : Shortened tour of minimum 5 days / 4 Nights is also possible, on pro-rata. Palace on wheels is a vovel and thrilling holiday concept of a railway cruise. It transports you into a bygone era of princes, palaces & medival fortresses and takes you through the heart of colourful Rajasthan. This full air-conditioned train is a legend on wheels, dazzling in the aura of gleaming brass with ceiling of painted silk and walls adorned with old paintings... all aglow with the warmth of yester years. To enliven your journey the Palace on Wheels has been refurbished and renovated with all modern comforts including central airconditioning and vestibules for inter-saloon access.

   
Day - 01 Delhi / Jaipur
Report at Delhi Cantt. Train station at 1600 hrs to Board Palace on wheels train. Train departs at 1745 hrs for Jaipur.
Day - 02 Jaipur / Jaisalmer

Arrive in Jaipur at 0615 hrs, breakfast on board 0730 - 0815 hrs. Sightseeing 0830 - 1230 hrs, Lunch at a Palace Hotel 1300 - 1430 hrs, Sightseeing 1430 - 1645 hrs, depart for Jaisalmer 1730 hrs, Dinner on Board at 2000 hrs. Oernight in Train.

Day - 03 Jaisalmer / Jodhpur

Arrive in Jaisalmer at 0615 hrs, Breakfast on board 0730 - 0815 hrs, sightseeing 0830 - 1230 hrs, lunch on board and rest 1300 - 1400 hrs, visit to sand dunes & Camel Ride 1700 - 1900 hrs. Dinner with cultural programme at Jaisalmer 1930 - 2200 hrs. depart to Jodhpur 2300 hrs.

Day - 04 Jodhpur / Sawaimadhopur
Arrive in Jodhpur at 0800 hrs, Breakfast on board 0730 - 0815 hrs, sightseeing 0830 - 1230 hrs, lunch at a palace hotel 1300 - 1500 hrs, depart to Sawaimadhopur 1530 hrs, dinner on board at 2000 hrs. Overnight in train.

Day - 05 Sawaimadhopur / Udaipur via Chittaurgarh

Arrive Sawaimadhopur at 0400 hrs, breakfast on board 0630 - 0700 hrs, visit Ranthambore National Park 0700 - 1000 hrs, depart for Chittaurgarh 1100 hrs, luch on board at 1300 hrs, arrive Chittaugarh at 1530 hrs, sightseeing Chittaurgarh fort 1600 - 1800 hrs, dinner on board at 2000 hrs. Overnight in Train.

Day - 06 Udaipur / Bharatpur

Breakfast on board 0645 - 0745 hrs, sighseeing tour of Udaipur 0830 - 1200 hrs, lunch at a Palace Hotel 1230 1430 hrs, depart for Bharatpur 2000 hrs. Dinner on board 2000 hrs. Overnight in Train

Day - 07 Bharatpur / Delhi via Agra

Arrive at Bharatpur at 0600 hrs. Visit Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary 0730 - 0830 hrs, Breakfast at forest lodge 0830 - 0930 hrs, sightseeing at Fatehpur Sikri 1030 - 1130 hrs, lunch on board at 1300 hrs, sightseeing- Agra and Taj Mahal 1500 - 1700 hrs, dinner on board 2000 hrs, depart for Delhi at 2300 hrs. Overnight in Train.

Day - 08 Arrive Delhi

Arrive Delhi cantt. 0600 hrs, breakfast on board at 0730 hrs, Palace on Hweels tour ends at 0830 hrs.
